“JESSE JAMES IS A DEAD MAN”
Jesse James famous for building an empire out of a shop known worldwide as West Coast Choppers; has a new series on Spike TV. The series Jesse James is a dead man claims Jesse will be doing stunts that no one in their right mind would think of trying. I watched the premier episode tonight; there was a lot of filler on the way to the nitro bike run. The episode did have just enough cool things going on it to keep me hanging on to the end. I was impressed when Jesse blew down the track at 161 mph in under 8 seconds. The man has never ridden a nitro bike and opened the throttle wide keeping into it to the end.
I give this show a three out of five; it has what it takes to make it!! We will be watching all the shows that center around motorsports.

Jesse James Biography
Before his TV gig, Jesse started West Coast Choppers by doing what he loved, building motorcycles in his mom’s garage. Jesse built his shop from the ground up and through noting more than hard work and dedication, turned it into the phenomenon it is today. The iconic logo is now recognized around the world. Every inch of his custom bikes and cars are stamped with Jesse’s signature work. As an expert welder, Jesse only produces12-14 bikes a year, making a very long wait list for his coveted custom machines.
Jesse then established Payupsucker Productions, so that he could share the stories he wanted to tell. In his first released title “History of the Chopper,” he pays tribute to his bike building heroes and for the first time, sheds light on the black bike builders that everyone else ignored. Jesse then traveled to Iraq for a first hand look inside the war and documented his experience in the feature “Iraq Confidential with Jesse James.” Putting all politics aside, this show highlighted the brave efforts of the mechanics who risk their lives everyday. Both features aired on Discovery in 2006. Jesse is currently in production on his third feature titled “Green Scream,” which will be released in 2009.
In 2004, Jesse took on a new role as publisher of Garage Magazine because he wanted to provide other gearheads a magazine that showcases the vitality of car culture in a high quality, glossy, lifestyle magazine format. The magazines’ approach is a gritty, insightful commentary on one of the most prolific aspects of pop culture. Garage Magazine has fulfilled an unmet need in the marketplace, a title that focuses on the personalities behind and beyond the custom car/bike.
Jesse soon decided to fulfill one of his longtime dreams and opened a fun, cool, eco-friendly burger joint that the whole family could enjoy. In 2006, Cisco Burger was born, named after his beloved pit bull Cisco. Completely solar operated; Cisco Burger uses only biodegradable products and serves up the best burger in Long Beach. Just steps away from West Coast Choppers’ headquarters, Jesse made sure that every inch of Cisco Burger is environmentally friendly – even deliveries are made in a Prius (with WCC rims of course!).
And in his spare time, Jesse pursues his passion, off-road desert racing. He and his team of builders have constructed a radically engineered trophy truck in which he has competed alongside legendary racers. As a newcomer to the illusive and grueling Baja races, he has already proven himself as a formidable competitor.
So what is Jesse James most proud of? Two things – his three children and the fact that his fan base is made up prominently of blue collar workers. Jesse has never lost sight of that which is the reason why his West Coast Choppers brand has maintained such a strong presence. Jesse continues to stay true to his roots and finds comfort in knowing that if all this was gone tomorrow, he could still earn $25.00 an hour as a damn good welder!
