David Donohue, Winner of the 2009 Daytona Rolex Grand Am 24 Hour Race will return once again in 2011 and he will “Race Against Guests” on the newly installed NASCAR Sprint Cup Stock Car on our Thunderbolt Raceway Simulator!!

The racer that comes closest to or faster than Donohue’s fastest lap on the simulator will win 2 season passes for 2011 at NJMP and a “Day in the Life” of an NJMP Drivers Club Member on Thunderbolt or Lightning Raceway. The top 10 fastest drivers on the simulator will win a starting position to compete against last year’s winners in the Green Flag Charity Challenge Cup at the NJMP Karting Track in a 10 lap feature race during the spring of 2011.

See the Daytona 500 on the four Clubhouse big screens. Race starts at 1 PM.

Over 50 door prizes, including 2011 race tickets.

Car clubs and individuals will display custom, historic, and classic street cars (weather provided) in their attempt to win “best of show” as judged by guests in attendance. The entry fee for the car show will be $10 per car, and the winning car will receive ½ of the total car show registration fees.

This will be the first Green Flag Childrens’ Charity event held at NJMP during the 2011 racing season, all culminating in the 4th Annual Green Flag Children’s Charities “Coats For Kids” day during the 2011 winter holiday season.
