The Arizona Sand Expo had something for everyone. One OF the favorite things was the miniature Rock Crawlers powered by Honda engines. They looked like toys until you watch them in action with four wheel steering and four-wheel drive. Once revved to go they takeoff and cruise anywhere. Renegade, one of the leaders in off road seats and custom cycle seats had a huge display of seats, some made especially for the sand dunes and the age-old problem of sand in your seat.
RPM, a well-known name in fabrication brought their Truggy with center steering and seating for three in a row. You might have seen it tearing up the dunes at Gorgon’s well during Thanksgiving. RPM also showcased the monster jeep, rumored to be the largest one in the world.
The cycle side of the show had all the big names as well. Hacienda Harley had its own tents selling bikes and apparel. Ross Brown had his T-Rex on display, and Paul Yaffee and OCC showed their stuff with a host of other too long to list.
