I have already marked the date off on my calendar for next year’s event. This event was a blast and the entertainment was great.

We pulled on to the property around 2:00 Friday afternoon. We hit the registration booth, signed in and set up camp. We pulled up to CAFÉ DDAY the crowd was starting to gather around the bandstand to watch some crazy bikers doing burnouts and listening to the band. As usual Dewayne the park owner met us with a big smile and gave us the run down on the weekend happenings.

Since were wheelers we decide to hit some of the 22 miles that spread across the park before the night’s festivities start. The trails range from nice leisurely trail ride through the woods to extreme offcamber rock hill climbs. The major arteries are easy trails that feed to the bottom or top of most difficult trails. This makes watching the extreme action possible from most any vehicle. We played on some of the hill climbs and in trench courses for a couple hours.

Returning to the café at dusk the party was in full swing. Leather chaps, halter tops, bikes, and rigs are stacked all over. Smoke rolled across the band from bikes doing burnouts. Friday is usually just a band and party but it pays to have friends and ours brings in dancers from his club for entertainment. The bandstand has the pole already equipped and the girls take the stage with the band. All there is to say is wow and sit back and watch. After all the entertainment some of us decided to go for a relaxing night run so off we went.

The sun began cresting the Oklahoma tree line that means its time to catch some shuteye before Saturday’s events get started. We woke and head out for the bike games and poker run. The four wheelers find this amusing for a while and then head out for trail riding. We had a blast on the trails, and as always problems arose. Out of the group we lost a transmission, break line, and several tires. We even got a class on redneck vulcanizing.

Pulling back in just in time for the burnout competition. There are Harleys, crotch rockets, big tire rigs, and other contraptions in line to try their hand at filling the area full of smoke. Most of the bikes burn them till they pop. The big tire rigs do front burns rear burns and some can’t even keep them spinning they just grab and push. The last group does their burnouts and the band shows up and out come the frozen T-shirts for the contest. The first one to get the shirt thawed and on wins. This contest is open to women and we have 13 competitors. After the winner gets her shirt on than we hold the crowd favorite contest. The band returned in the evening and the crowd doubled in size.

The entertainment was awesome, the people were great, and the park is sweet!
