HOLLEY SOMERNITES POWER CRUISE 2009

Holley Performance Products is proud to announce that it is the official sponsor of the Somernites Power Cruise to be held July 25th, 2009.
This is Holley’s third year as the title sponsor of the Holley Somernites Power Cruise. Tour legs will be leaving from five locations heading for the popular cruise destination of Somerset, KY where they will meet up with over 1,000 other cars who regularly converge on the historic city square one weekend per month throughout the summer. The tour legs will be leaving the morning of July 25th from Nashville, TN; Knoxville, TN; Cincinnati, OH; Louisville, KY and Bowling Green, KY. “The Somernites Cruise continues to grow in popularity and is definitely making waves in the automotive scene. The Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour has even made Somerset a destination stop for 2009”, said Holley’s Director of Marketing, Bill Tichenor. “The crew in Somerset just does everything right and the whole town gets behind the cruise to make it a success. It really is a national type event drawing cars from all over the country, but it still has that small town appeal. Everyone converges on the historic downtown during the day for the cruise-in and then they get out and drive up and down the four lane strip all night. You’ll see everything from street rods, to muscle cars to slammed trucks. It’s just about car enthusiasts enjoying cars”, said Tichenor.

Holley will give away door prizes from each of their performance divisions including Weiand intakes, Hooker Headers, NOS Nitrous, Earl’s Plumbing, and FlowTech Exhaust throughout the event.
