This event had it all, big rocks, big rigs, big names, and big crashes. With competitors such as Sam Patton, John Loyd, Shawn Gibson, and many others there was sure to be speed, carnage, and rollovers. The competition was sure to be tight among the competitors and their massive offroad rigs.

As the event gets underway the question of the weekend is will the rigs with stand the beatings their drivers are putting them through. On course 1 Chris Welch in his TJ rolled 2 and ¼ times down the step incline of the course landing on his wheels and still had the composer to finish the course with 2 flat tires. John Loyd trying an assult up course 5’s hill laid his on the side and tried desperately to upright it but to no avail and ended up pulling cable. Many of the rigs had to winch and repair broken pieces to stay in the hunt for the podium spots.

The courses this weekend tested teams and rigs to the max. These courses by far have been the most technical and challenging on the series. Nathan has a knack for setting up courses that test the physical, mental, and strength of teams and rigs. He and his family work hard to bring another form of offroad racing to the 4 wheel drive community. With their hard efforts, their determination, and the competitive spirit of the racers the final event of the series will be one you don’t want to miss. It will be held Sept 29-30 in Branson, MO at Indian Ridge Resort.
