Small Block Chevy Build

[slideshow id=54]How many of you are reading this, looking for tips on how to rebuild your small block Chevy? The best piece of advice I can offer you after watching this build is seek professional help! I have met a ton of people that claim to know all the tips & tricks to freshing up or re-building a small block Chevy.
However they are gernading motors. Of course it’s due to the parts (Yeah right.)
We chose to have Keith Worman of Action Speed & Machine go through our small block Chevy. Keith is a second-generation machinist (perfectionist). The attention Keith gives to small detail is incredible.

This motor is a two bolt-main 350-bored 10 over. I won’t bore you with details. The bottom line is 350HP and 400lbs torque that translates into some serious good times after being transplanted into our 1972 FJ40 project.
Keith’s father was an engineer for GM and that’s probably why Keith is so successful building race motors.
The circle track racers wait in line for their motors to be done by Mr. Worman himself. Keith handles it all from start to finish the good, bad and the technical things. You can rest assured that there is no $10.00hr guy slamming parts together while Keith looks over their shoulder.
When it come time for a power plant that you want done right the first time, stop by Action Speed & Machine in Mesa, AZ  #(480) 545-9665
Actionspeed & machine and let him know you read our highly technical article.
