The event site is awesome the courses were great and the competitors showed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Mike McClure, Carl Macintyre, and their staff of Bent and Twisted Fabrication have a beautiful facility and helped the teams out tremendously. Day 2 brings 4 courses at the teams. These courses are long, tight, and twisty through the woods with short vertical climbs and long straights. These course demand the teams to drive their rigs in excess of 65 mph and maneuver these giant chunks of metal with finesse through the trees and obstacles. These courses are a timed based event. Bryan Crofts a first timer for this season, of Genright Offroad, did well for himself. He held his own against Kathy Crook, Troy Trinka, and Tim Florian who took third, second, and first. Since were wheelers we decide to hit some of the 22 miles that spread across the park before the night's festivities start. The trails range from nice leisurely trail ride through the woods to extreme offcamber rock hill climbs. The major arteries are easy trails that feed to the bottom or top of most difficult trails. We went out Thursday afternoon to meet up with the early arrivals. Since it was nice the ones there went for a ride on the lower and upper Woodpecker trails.
