Spectators were able to see rhino, sand rail, and trophy truck races on the 1.5-mile off-road course, which consisted of jumps, tight corners and the infamous whoop section. The whoops proved to be the toughest part of the course when two of the rhino drivers lost control and dove face-first into one of the whoops, sending the rhinos end-over-end across the track. The two to watch in this race, were Rick Dermo, and Shannon Campbell. Shannon, as usual had TV crews all over him filming every move he made. Shannon did excellent the first half.
