TCI® Sponsors 2011 Car Craft Summer Nationals Burnout Contest
TCI® is proud to sponsor the popular Burnout Contest at the 2011 Car Craft Summer Nationals.
TCI® will once again sponsor the popular Burnout Contest at the 2011 Car Craft Summer Nationals, which will be held on July 22-24, 2011, at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, MN. The Burnout Contest is a two day event in and of itself, drawing a crowd of 20,000 muscle car lovers who fill the grandstands to watch contestants create huge clouds of smoke and lay down thick layers of burnt rubber. In addition to the smoking burnouts and the over 4,000 cars on display at the Car Craft Summer Nationals, the COMP Performance Group™ trailer will be on-site with all-new, interactive displays, updated literature and new apparel. Technicians from TCI® and all the other CPG companies will also be on-hand to answer questions and explain the technology behind the products.
It’s fitting that TCI® sponsors the Burnout Contest as the drivetrain leader has added yet another product to its line of RollStop® Kits – the Universal Burnout Kit with LED Lights. This kit includes a Rollstop® that allows your front wheels to lock, helping to hold the car in the staging beams and the burnout box. Then it uses ultra-bright LEDs to illuminate the tire smoke from your burnout with pulsing blue lights. The waterproof TCI® RollStop® and Universal Burnout Kits are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum for high strength and durability. The precision solenoid valve can withstand up to 3,000 psi of pressure and is designed to draw only one amp of current.
Make sure to check out the Burnout Contest if you’ll be attending the Car Craft Summer Nationals, and stop by the COMP Performance Group™ booth if you have any questions.
