There is a New Kid on the Block!

There is a new kid on the block. Shannon Campbell, national champion rock crawler, off road racer and dominator of anything with an engine, 4 wheels and rolls on dirt, has been a long time supporter of ARB Air Lockers and as a result, ARB is a proud sponsor of the Campbell Enterprises / Monster Energy Team. But this press release is not about Shannon, it’s about Shannon’s son Wayland, a new addition to the competitors of the Campbell
Enterprises / Monster Energy Team. At the young age of only 14 years old, Wayland competed in his first professional rock crawl event at the 2009 W.E. Rock Put Up or Shut Up Shootout in Tucson, AZ on December 12th & 13th taking a strong 3rd place and just 3 points out from taking 2nd.

With a slow start on the Saturday, Wayland was able to climb the ladder by completing bonus lines that would make a veteran cringe, all with the help of national champion spotter, and Uncle, Nick Campbell. By the end of the day on Sunday, Wayland was sitting comfortably in 4th place going into the shootout. With the courses changed, Wayland and Nick attacked the final shootout with a vengeance, completing the obstacles that others could not, pushing them into a much earned 3rd place over all.
