XRRA CORTEZ CO. 2007

We arrived right at show time with snow falling! Yeah that’s right. SNOW!! The weather was miserable all day long. Thanx Colorado!

Brandon Johnson of SXOR tagged the first jump of the day, he went hard end over end! The medics cut him out of his rig and pulled him out on a backboard. Brandon was taken to the local hospital in an ambulance where tests showed he had damaged a vertebra. The good news is he will be fine! He was back at the hotel resting by 6:00pm.

Weston Blackie had trouble with his new rig all day long. He rolled, broke an air shock and even caught fire!! Keep your head up Wes; this is its first time out with little to no seat time! Wes if you are still not happy with it by the next comp …Give it to me!

Shannon Campbell in the Monster Energy rig was flying through his second course, he hit the last jump way to hot, flipped end over end while crossing the checkered flag! .

XRRA had another action packed day of extreme racing. Wickedmag.com would like to thank the Weavers and Cortez Co. Last but not least thanks to Randy at Jimmy’s 4×4 for puttin the crew up at a local favorite The Anasazi Inn. We will see everyone at the next event in Colorado Springs, CO.
